Synopsis: Moderate to strong south winds will persist today ahead of a cold front. This cold front will push off the coast by this evening with strengthening offshore winds and increasing sea heights in its wake. Frequent gale force gusts are expected Saturday night with elevated winds and waves persisting through Sunday morning. Weakening northeast winds and lowering seas can be expected late Sunday afternoon through Sunday night. Light to moderate east to southeast winds can then be expected until the next cold front moves through the area late Tuesday into early Wednesday.
