The Rockland Harbormaster’s Office is located at the Rockland Public Landing, at the foot of Harbor Park. The office operates year-round. During the off-season, services are available by appointment. Beginning May 15, regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. From July through September, the office is open seven days a week.
While visitors are always welcome, staff may occasionally be away from the office conducting on-water operations, running errands, or performing maintenance on floats and facilities. To ensure assistance, please call or email ahead before visiting.
The Harbormaster’s Office also monitors VHF Channels 16 and 09.
The Harbormaster oversees operations at the Public Landing and is available to provide information and guidance regarding moorings in Rockland Harbor. Public Landing docks are typically installed around May 15 and removed around October 15, depending on seasonal conditions.
