Tropical Storm Florence to become Hurricane, East Coast braces for the worst

Tonight, the 8th, Tropical Storm Florence is expected to turn into Hurricane Florence, and poses a significant threat to the East Coast of the US. By the end of next week, there is a significant chance that Florence will make landfall in the Low Country states, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. Authorities are already making moves to prepare for the storm, including a state of emergency being declared by North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper.
