Boating, Fishing, and Travel Information for Nassau River entrance, FL

The mouth of Nassau River is located between Amelia Island State Park and Big Talbot Island State Park, and flows into Nassau Sound. A highway crosses the river, as does the George Crady Bridge Fishing Pier State Park. Amelia Island is located right at the entrance to the river and is one of the Sea Islands that are a collection of barrier islands along the East Coast from South Carolina to Florida. On the island are the communities of Fernandina Beach, Amelia City, and American Beach.
