Plymouth Yacht Club Christens New Launch

Atlantic Boat Company, of Brooklin, Maine, has completed the Plymouth Yacht Club’s new DUFFY-26 Launch. The launch successfully passed the 24+1 stability test and received a temporary Certificate of Inspection from the United States Coast Guard.

Located in historic Plymouth and situated on Cape Cod Bay, Plymouth Yacht Club is one of the oldest yacht clubs in America, founded in 1890. Earlier this year, Plymouth Yacht Club members authorized the build of Hull No. 78 with the optional 75hp Yanmar diesel power plant, Model 4JH4-TE.

Plymouth Yacht Club joins a number of other clubs taking delivery of the Duffy-26 Launch since last year: James M. Churchill(Falmouth, Maine), Larchmont Yacht Club’s LYC IX (Larchmont, New York), and Hull Yacht Club’s Allerton (Hull, Massachusetts).

Certified as open launches, canopied launches, and enclosed launches the 24 + 1 passenger DUFFY-26 Launch is built to a high standard to meet our clients’ needs.
