About the "Best Harbor in the U.S." Contest
The Best Harbor contest is an annual, online competition to find the “Best Harbor” in the United States. Each year our coastal community members vote on their favorite of the over 1,400+ coastal and Great Lakes harbors on usharbors.com. The contest runs from mid-May to mid-June.
The contest truly reflects the pride and passion people feel for their local coastal communities.

Maine Lobster Roll Kit Giveaway 2026 Official Rules
Eligibility: This giveaway is open to U.S. residents 18+
Entry period: Entries must be received between May 15, 2026 at 1:00 am and 8:59 am June 12, 2026.
How to enter: Enter by voting for the Best Harbor 2026 on the US Harbors website. There is no cost to enter.
Winner selection: The winner will be chosen at random from the list of voters for the 2026 Best Harbor contest. We will inform the winner via email and post the winner on the Best Harbor contest information page (you can opt out from having your name listed).
Prize details: The winner will receive a lobster roll kit from Maine (valued at $280). It includes:
2 lbs of wild-caught Fresh Maine lobster meat: Pre-cooked, hand-picked, and ready to serve
6 Brioche split-top rolls with plenty of room for lobster
Stonewall Mayonnaise, made right here in Maine.
Fox Family Farm Chips(6 bags), local Maine potato chips to accompany your lobster roll.
Kate’s Butter (1 stick): Butter your rolls or your lobster with Kate’s Butter from Maine.
And a Maine-style lobster roll recipe with easy-to-follow instructions.
